Mass Innovation Event at Lansdowne Pub in Boston

This past week we had the opportunity to participate in the Mass Innovation event held in the heart of Boston at Lansdowne Pub right next to the historic Fenway Park. The evening itself was filled with entrepreneurs, start-ups, enthusiasts, and seasoned individuals from all walks of life.

Some of you might know that over the past few weeks there has been a poll going on the Mass Innovation website giving people the ability to vote for their favorite start-up for the event. Out of the 9 teams participating the top 4 with the most votes were presented with the opportunity to speak in front of all the attendees. The team at tripchi was very thankful for the amount of support that we had as were in the top 4, with over 300 votes and 18% of the total vote. People came out an voted for us from all over the world, demonstrating truly global support for a global product :). We also love all the comments you posted about tripchi on the Mass Inno voting page–good stuff!

American Airlines was also supporting the event. Each attendee was given a slip of paper to go around and learn about the different start-ups; using this piece of paper they were able to vote for the one they loved most. tripchi was voted number 2 and was awarded 2,000 American Airlines Business ExtrAA miles to use for our business travel (this will sure come in handy!).

American Airlines Award

We want to thank everyone again who came to the event, and voted for us (or both)–we greatly appreciate the support and feedback we are currently receiving. We also hoped your enjoyed our Airports 2.0 strategy.

The tripchi team will be attending many upcoming events to network, get out there and meet with our potential users, and learn more about their pain points in airports. We look forward to meeting with you at a future event!
