HMS Host is sponsoring another airport restaurant month, and that’s why May is Airport Restaurant Month! This follows up a string of cooking/foodie oriented events put on by HMSHost, including the recent Chicago O’Hare Cooking Competition which tripchi also covered.
HMSHost’s May is Airport Restaurant Month is back, with about 90 restaurants worldwide across 50 airports. Launched in 2014 at North American airports only, Airport Restaurant Month has been an overwhelming success for both HMSHost and for foodie travelers alike. This success has recently led to the program’s expansion to new airports and to Europe – now including Brussels Airport, Zurich Airport, and Leonardo da Vinci–Fiumicino Airport in Rome.
The HMSHost VP of Marketing Atousa Ghoreichi shared that “HMSHost created the first of its kind monthly holiday because one week isn’t enough to celebrate our culinary creativity. We are thrilled that the success of Airport Restaurant Month at North American airports has resulted in a global launch this May where travelers in select airports in Europe can now experience this month-long culinary event.”
Each airport restaurant gets a customized menu based creations from HMSHost as well as guest/celebrity chefs, such as these:
Diners will receive a choice of entrée, paired with several sides. Some examples that travelers can enjoy include: Rosemary grilled shrimp; flat iron steak; parmesan-crusted chicken; and a baked Portobello mushroom.
