As many of you know I tend to enjoy focusing on my hometown airport of Boston Logan. I am proud of my airport, even with the high landing fees and singular private aviation FBO that is essentially a monopoly. Massport, the agency that governs Logan Airport have really been attacking the international route market. They have reeled in international carriers with reduced landing fees and help in the marketing the routes. In the past two years they have added five new international airlines, so you can now fly direct to the Middle East and Asia from Boston. This expansion has opened the doors to global political and business relationships, keeping Logan competitive with other east coast giants; JFK and Dulles, who also continue to expand their route network. But enough talk about what has happened in the future lets look to the future.
