Attention all “inner” chefs – today is your last day to upload your recipe submission for a chance to win a place in the O’Hare Airport cooking competition at Chicago O’Hare International Airport on March 22! The competition is HMS Host’s latest brainchild to further engage the airport public in airport related events and activities that matter to them.

You can enter here by the end of the day today. All you have to do is upload a video (less than 5 minutes) of yourself preparing the dish you want to submit for the O’Hare Airport competition. HMS Host ran the same competition last year, so you can scope out some of last year’s winners (also with a live O’hare airport cooking competition) to get a feel for who you might be up against. HMS Host is of course looking for not only mad cooking skills, but also like-able, fun people.

So after you submit you recipe and the video of you cooking, you’ll be entered in the O’Hare airport cooking competition which will take place live on Mar 22.

Just having the publicity and being part of the competition might be a prize enough, especially if you’re an aspiring chef looking to get your brand out there. But, real prizes are good too. 🙂

• An evening for two to the 2016 James Beard Awards Gala on May 2, 2016. This is an event that takes place at the Lyric Opera of Chicago, and the package includes transportation and lodging (great for those of us that don’t live in CHI-town). The James Bears Awards Gala, by the way, is a great way to hob nob with the world’s top chefs!
• Two roundtrip coach class airline tickets for a flight within the continental U.S.
• Your winning dish could be featured on the menu at a Chicago O’Hare International Airport HMS Host restaurant!
